about maserati

Maserati has a long, illustrious, and turbulent past. Although pricey, the company is recognized for its stunning, opulent cars that aren’t six-figure exotics. The current range consists of an SUV, sedans, and convertibles.

In Bologna, Italy, where a monument in the town square commemorates the legendary deity Neptune, the Maserati brand was established in 1914. It is said that this image is honored by the Maserati trident logo.

The business was eventually sold, and its headquarters were transferred to Modena, Italy. Up until the 1960s, racing had a lengthy history until the company decided to concentrate on-road vehicles. The company was bought by Citroen in 1968.

The company ceased bringing automobiles into the United States in 1991. FIAT purchased it in 1993, and Ferrari acquired complete control of the company by buying a 50% investment in it in 1997.

Maserati returned to the United States in 2002, and FIAT separated Maserati from Ferrari in 2005. With enticing, sensual Italian style and performance, the brand keeps enhancing its image in the United States.
