The amazing Bentley Bentayga- 2023

The Bentley Bentayga SUV’s EWB version raises the bar for rear-seat luxury. Extended Base, also known as EWB, refers to a vehicle smaller than the year and has extra rear legroom. You receive two reclining seats, a footrest, decorative pillows, a television, champagne flutes, and more: chrome and leather.

Do you have a quarter of a million pounds? This car is for you

, what do you want? All that luxury and only $5 change? While costing land in insurance, road tax (or VED, to give it the proper term), new tires, a complete repaint on the £24,000 optional zero finish, and other expenses, this car is budget-friendly, barely scraping 20mpg.

The Bentayga EWB is the best option if you have less than a quarter of a million pounds to spend on a four-wheel vehicle that offers the ultimate privacy and refined comfort. However, value for money is subjective, so we’re only giving it 1 star for that reason. Our test car included every option imaginable and cost £211,000,

Bentley throws its magic dust on every project,

The Bentley is still a part of the more prominent Volkswagen family, which has benefits and drawbacks. On the negative side, your envious children will tell you you spent a ton of money on an Audi Q7 with a new grille. The good news is that you can impart excellent understanding regarding the team, components, suppliers, engineering, chassis, and engine development. Even while the heartbeat of the Q7 has been rigorously researched and tested in prior models, Bentley undoubtedly sprinkles its magic dust on every project, so by the time it arrives in showrooms, it is by no means a Q7.

Lane Lane Assist is standard but comes with the optional Touring Package.

Many of the usual safety features in low-priced automobiles are optional choices, as is frequently the case (but shouldn’t be) in luxury vehicles that cost a fortune. For instance, adaptive cruise control, night vision, and lane-keeping assist are included in the optional Touring package, which also contains lane-keeping assist. You have a good view of the road in front of you, and Bentley’s 4WD Mode Selector allows you to switch between Comfort, Sport, personalized settings, and a variety of slip-surface options for grip that inspires confidence.

The left rear seat can be opened in VIP mode.

This car’s primary focus is on comfort. Whether they are bored teenagers of the super-rich or executives napping in the backseat between meetings, it is a fantastic treat for backseat passengers. You can choose a system known as flight seats in addition to the standard Bentayga comforts, including a quiet, comfortable ride, light masses from the extended glass roof, plush leather, and temperature-controlled massage and padding.

You now have two separate rear seats with cushioned headrests that constantly adjust for maximum comfort based on the posture and temperature of the passengers. The front passenger seat will automatically slide and tilt forward, the footrest will be lowered, and the rear seat will recline to a semi-reclining position when the left back seat is deployed into VIP mode.

There’s a partnership with Naim, the British audio experts who create bespoke systems for Bentleys.

The collaboration with British audio pioneer Naim, who has developed custom systems for Bentleys as well as the houses of their owners, is even more astounding. The only option is the roughly £7,000 Bentayga system, which we must choose. The bass alone is fantastic; it rumbles through the seats and transforms the vehicle into a mobile West End club.

This hefty car pulls smoothly, with great bursts of acceleration.

Massive gasoline engines shouldn’t be praised anymore, but at least this 4.0-litre V8 is twice supercharged for better performance. Given that we achieved roughly 18 mpg during our testing period and that it has 542 horsepower, the clutch may be in the straw. But it’s a cleverly constructed piece that quickly pulls this incredibly hefty car and provides powerful acceleration when needed.

And today’s large engines serve this purpose. Instead of constantly utilizing it and carrying it to a gas station yard every day, it’s more important to know that you have peace of mind. Unexpectedly, the Bentayga EWB is also simple to manoeuvre in confined situations because of its clear view of the hood’s end, light steering, and numerous cams—one for the team.

engine Bentley Bentayga

The 542-hp EWB isn’t much slower to 60 mph than its shorter V-8 stablemate, only a tenth of a second slower. The additional 220 pounds the EWB once carried—and the total weight is now 7,165 pounds—seems like a drop in a huge bucket. Currently, the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V-8 is the only engine available for the EWB. We’re intrigued as to why Bentley chose not to use the Bentayga’s W-12 engine, but perhaps it would create a more luxurious variant of this top-of-the-line SUV.

Importantly, not much has changed in the dynamic balance. The turning radius of the EWB is less than that of the short-wheelbase Bentayga, although it is 7 inches longer. This is a first for Bentayga. A car that doesn’t appear tall or stocky can be created by combining the magic of adjustable dampers (which vary from somewhat softer in the base Bentayga to the same stiffness in Sport mode) and the standard 48-volt active roll bars. Actually, at least from the driver’s seat.

There’s no reason to question Bentley’s assertion that it will hit 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, but the way it builds up speed feels measured rather than explosive; Imagine a steam train instead of an oversized WRX. While there’s plenty of power and torque available and the exhaust in Sport mode sounds nice and luxurious, it can be a bit difficult to move the throttle smoothly due to the sluggish hint of the accelerator.

First class seats Bentley Bentayga

It’s hard to focus on anything other than the enormous space you have to relax (and even lie in) from the back seat. Huge doesn’t even begin to describe it. It’s more like an SUV with a first-class suite than one of those long-haul airlines that only fly visitors. The original Mulsanne sedan, which was much longer and which the EWB essentially replaced, had a smaller interior.

While the standard, triple-width rear seats in the regular Bentayga let you make the most of the room, the EWB is best enjoyed in the more upscale 4+1 and four-seater configurations. However, third-row seating is not an option, and due to the vehicle’s longer wheelbase, the rear luggage area remains the same as it was on short-wheelbase vehicles.

Consider instead the most practical throne in the business class, then furnish it with 22 different ways it can be adjusted. A system that uses sensors to automatically heat and cool your back and bottom to the right six-level selected temperature will then be included as a useful feature. Over the course of three hours, the massage bladder will gently massage your body in an undetectable motion to prevent any numbness. The ability to recline up to 40 degrees, enjoy a lot of light dozing, or just stare through the huge glass top panel while breathing in the air purified by the ionizers is most important.

The detachable, removable touch-sensitive panel that slides out from the back of the front console and retracts from its magnetic base can be used to control all of this with just a few taps on its screen. You can operate either seat, regulate the temperature, and raise the large sunshade over it, among other things. The most common use for this little gadget would be to move the front seat forward, extend the footrest, and fully recline the aeroplane seat for comfort. We anticipate that despite its high five-figure price, this airline seat option (available in both 4+1 and 4-seat combinations) will be the most popular seat option at EWB due to its exceptional comfort and luxurious air.

Given the size of the rear doors, optional tailgate actuators may be just as important to some buyers. Their application is simple. The motor will slowly close the door if you push it open. By pressing a button from the inside, the door is summoned, avoiding the need for a long, painstaking arm to open it.
